Our Services

The value of great education is undisputed, that is why our services are tailor-made to each individual student’s needs. We have a quick turnaround time so that our students can get the best results within a short period of time for their applications to the educational institutions.

Initial Consultation

Our first meeting or consultation with a student and their family is a time for us to learn more about a student’s background and career goals as well as their parent or guardian's goals and budget. Initial consultations can be conducted over the phone or our consultants can arrange to meet student and their families face to face. Our consultants thoroughly assess the student’s academic background, making note of any special interests and extracurricular activities. We will then provide parents and guardians with a report based on our assessment.

School or University Search and Selection

Based on the assessment of the student’s background, our consultants will shortlist a selection of educational institutions relevant to them and their desired qualifications. We are happy to provide a consultant to accompany you to the school visits to ensure that your questions are answered. This is a service that we provide as part of our consultancy so that parents and students can be exposed to the best opportunities offered by leading British independent education. If you are looking to gain entry to a world-class British University or a Top 10 Russell Group University, we can guide you through the process and assist you with your choices from hundreds of schools.

School and University Placements

Once students and their guardians have selected educational institutions which suit them best, our consultants are able to place students at the schools or universities of their choice. We provide a tailor-made preparation and mentorship programme to help children and young adults get the most out of their UK education. We provide placements for students of all ages, from young nursery aged children to postgraduate university students.

Application Forms, References and Other Documents

Our consultants will submit completed application forms, references along with other supporting documents on behalf of the students to the selected schools

Private Tuition and Entrance Exams

At International School Consultants we take care of all arrangements concerning a specific school or university’s entrance exam. Exams can be taken either at the school premises or at a location in another country recommended by the educational institution. Private tuition and one on one practice sessions can be arranged at an additional cost. We also provide information and professional guidance concerning scholarship exams as well as bursary requirements.

Interview Practice

After students have successfully passed the entrance exam, most schools request an interview to speak to the student's face to face. Our consultants will provide private guidance for students on how to present themselves during interviews. We will help students appear more confident so that they can communicate their career aspirations and ambition eloquently during the interview.

Acceptance Procedure

Once a student is accepted to an institution we will help them with completing and sourcing any other documentation. We can also guide students through the visa application process. If a child is put on a waiting list, we can provide advice on how to increase their chances of being accepted. We can also arrange private tutoring so that students can improve their marks for certain subjects and submit these. International School Consultants provide continuous support throughout the acceptance process to ensure that students are placed at the institution of their choice.

Nursery School Placements

At International School Consultants, we are experienced at placing very young students at independent UK nursery schools. We guide parents through the application and registration process as well as providing advice on getting into some of the most prestigious nursery schools in the UK.

School Placements

We help place young international students of school going age, from 7+ to the sixth form, at British schools. Our consultants maintain connections with a wide range of excellent independent schools across the UK. International School Consultants can help parents with the school registration and application process as well as boarding arrangements and visa applications. We also provide continuous guidance and support once students have been accepted into the school, to ensure that they are comfortable in their new environment and that they get the most out of their British education.

University Placements and Mentoring

At International School Consultants we understand that to apply to and be accepted at a British university can be confusing and difficult. Not only is the application process complex, requirements for entry are challenging and there are often only a limited number of positions available for each course. Competition from other candidates, therefore, presents a genuine problem, meaning that only a select few students find places at the university and programme of their choice.

International School Consultants are able to help both prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students apply and gain entry to some of the most prestigious universities in the UK. We provide students with a wide range of application opportunities by maintaining our network of hundreds of top rated British universities.

Our university consultants will assess academic reports and other supporting documents and select the right course and send off completed application forms along with supporting documents to the selected schools

Once we have helped students to go through the acceptance procedure and have begun their studies, we will provide continuous ongoing support to make sure that the student makes effective use of their time at university. Our career mentors will set up face to face meetings with students to discuss how they are settling in at university, how they are coping with the workload and if there is anything which they might need extra help with.

New university students might need help learning how to study more effectively, how to write better essays and complete exams. Career mentors at international school consultants will help students settle into their new study environment and advice for the next steps in their academic and professional career. We also offer personal guidance for students entering the job market, providing help writing CVs and cover letters, as well as sourcing recommendations, networking and how to present oneself during a job interview.

Post Admission Service

Getting our students placement is only the beginning of our journey with them. Even after gaining admission, we correspond with families offering career and financial advice to ensure that the student is given the best possible education and career direction within 3 - 9 months of their enrolment.

Guardianship

Being far from home and in an unfamiliar environment can be a daunting experience. Our experienced team of expert staff and guardians keep in touch with the students making sure that they settle well into the new culture.

We act as a family and keep parents abreast of their children’s educational progress. Often we visit the students and offer help where they need it and create after-school activities such as sports, trips and events around England to provide an enjoyable stay.
